VANESSA VANDERHOOF-WEAVER NCARB
Architect + Designer
I believe in the innovation and creativity of architectural design. Through my career and education I was able to explore the possibilities of expanding my design intent into subjects of community engagement, sustainability, place-making, and the intersection of architecture with other various disciplines. After receiving my Masters in Architecture from Portland State University, I spent the last several years working my way through a wide variety of projects including legacy high-end projects, hospitality, office, retail, residential, civic, and master planning.
As a newly registered Architect, with almost 8 years of experience, my experience has consisted of taking projects from conceptual design through construction documents, and construction administration. I have demonstrated expertise in project leadership, design development, and construction documentation. I have experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams, managing client relationships, and delivering projects on time. I am ready to transition into a Project Architect role, bringing a strong portfolio of innovative designs and a track record of successful project execution.
Outside of work, my free time is usually spent with my family, mostly chasing around toddler. If I have a moment I also enjoy hobbies like art, competitive game nights, cooking and enjoying wonderful food and great company.
